Dane Hildreth - Update 2
Since the last update, I have implemented the Background music into the game and two other sounds. A sound that plays when that game is one and one that plays when the game is lost. I ended up implementing them by creating a win and lose screen and the sounds play on a way so both are activated after the game is concluded technically. Because of this, I ended up implementing a start menu, win screen, and lose screen. These screens still need background music and I am undecided on whether to use the same song or a less intense one.
Attached are some art Assets I made for the game background. They do not fit the exact vibe/theme of the game but they were made in a time crunch. I do not know if we will replace them later on, we may not have enough time. I tried to get a lot of classic Austin Structures to set the game's vibe, but the story is still somewhat missing. I've been brainstorming ways to more clearly convey the message of a student late for class but have yet to come up with a solution.
